What are alkylglycerols?
ALKYLGLYCEROLS are substances naturally present in our body (bone marrow, mother’s milk, liver), with shark liver oil containing the highest concentration in nature, up to 30% alkylglycerols.
ALKYLGLYCEROLS are involved in the production and maturation of white blood cells (leukocytes) and antibodies, which are essential components of the immune system. Alkylglycerols are considered as important for white blood cells as iron is for red blood cells (erythrocytes). Food and beverages contain little or no alkylglycerols necessary for immunity, so they must be consumed through standardized dietary supplements.
ALKYLGLYCEROLS are depleted over the years, and their reduction leads to weakened immunity.
ECOMER ALKYLGLYCEROLS have the same composition as alkylglycerols from mother’s milk, requiring the use of alkylglycerols from the liver oil of three types of sharks to achieve such a combination.
The ECOMER production process is unique and standardized, meaning each batch contains the same active ingredient content that is strictly controlled throughout the manufacturing process. It is standardized to contain at least 20% pure alkylglycerols.
It does not contain dairy, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, yeast, or yeast-derived preservatives.
ECOMER is a fully purified oil from shark liver.
